These Terms of Service govern your use of the DeskPet desktop application, DeskPet Cloud APIs, activation services, social features (friends, lobby, chat), and Discord linking.

By installing, activating, or using DeskPet, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
You may use DeskPet only where your use is lawful. If you are under legal age, required consent under applicable law is needed.
DeskPet cloud functionality requires internet connectivity and reachable DeskPet services. Availability may be affected by maintenance, infrastructure incidents, provider outages, rate limits, or force majeure.
Friends, lobbies, chat, and Discord linking are optional. You are responsible for the content you submit and share.
DeskPet may apply server-side security and anti-abuse checks. Serious abuse or repeated violations can lead to suspension, key revocation, or permanent access restrictions.
We may change features, balancing, APIs, and service behavior. Legal text changes are reflected through updated version dates.
You may stop using DeskPet at any time. We may limit or terminate access for abuse, fraud signals, security violations, or legal reasons.
DeskPet is provided "as is" and "as available". Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Liability is governed by mandatory statutory law. To the legally permitted extent, liability for slight negligence, indirect damages, and temporary downtime is limited, except where mandatory liability applies.
DeskPet code, graphics, text, and design are protected by applicable intellectual property law unless explicitly stated otherwise.
We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
German law applies. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence remain unaffected where legally required. For merchants/legal entities, venue is in Germany where lawful.
If one provision is invalid, remaining provisions continue to apply.
